1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Geodhara Farm website and your purchase of milk and milk subscriptions from Geodhara Private Limited, operating under the brand name “Geodhara Farm” (“Geodhara Farm”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a private limited company with its registered office/principal place of business at Raparthi Nagar, Khammam, Telangana 507002, India (CIN: [to be added]; FSSAI License/Registration No.: not yet issued - see Section 8).
By visiting our website, placing an order, or subscribing to a delivery plan, you (“you”, “customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Return, Replacement & Refund Policy (together, the “Policies”), each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to enter into a valid contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to place an order with us. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the delivery address and contact details you provide are accurate.
3. Our Products
We sell fresh, raw (unpasteurised) buffalo and cow milk, collected from our own herd in Khammam and chilled shortly after milking. As our milk is a natural product, minor day-to-day variation in colour, cream content, or taste is normal and is not a defect. Please see Section 8 (Food Safety & Handling) for important safety information about raw milk.
4. Orders, Subscriptions & Pricing
We currently offer milk in 500 ml and 1-litre quantities, and 7-day, 30-day, and 60-day subscription plans at a ½-litre/day or 1-litre/day tier, as described on our Subscribe page. Longer plans may include bonus free litres and a discounted rate compared to our standard per-litre price, as displayed at the time of purchase.
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes, if any (see Section 4.1 below).
- Prices, plans, and bonus offers are subject to change without prior notice; the price shown to you at checkout for a given order is the price that applies to that order.
- Placing an order and completing payment does not, by itself, guarantee delivery. We currently deliver only within Khammam and select nearby areas, and we ask every customer to confirm serviceability with us over WhatsApp or phone before or immediately after paying. If we are unable to deliver to your address, you will receive a full refund as described in our Cancellation Policy.
4.1 Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Under current Indian GST law, fresh milk - whether pasteurised or unprocessed/raw - falls under a nil/exempt rate (HSN 0401). Accordingly, no GST is currently levied on our milk or subscription prices. Should this treatment change, or should GST become applicable to any future product or service we offer, we will update our pricing and these Terms accordingly.
5. Payments
Payments are currently accepted only via UPI, using the QR code or UPI ID (geodharafarm@ybl) shown on our Subscribe/Payment pages, through your own UPI app (such as PhonePe, Google Pay, or similar). We do not use a third-party payment gateway and we do not collect or store your card, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials; your payment is processed entirely within your own banking app and by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI)/your bank.
After paying, you are asked to fill in your details and upload a screenshot of your payment confirmation. We manually verify each payment against the details you provide before confirming your order over WhatsApp or phone. Please retain your own payment confirmation until your order is confirmed.
6. Delivery
Delivery is carried out directly by us (not by a third-party courier) within our current serviceable area, on a schedule agreed with you. Full details are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Cancellations, Pauses & Refunds
You may pause, skip, or cancel a subscription, and you may be entitled to a refund or replacement in certain circumstances. The full terms are set out in our Cancellation Policy and our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy, both of which form part of these Terms.
8. Food Safety & Handling
Compliance note for the site owner: under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, no person may manufacture, sell, store, or distribute food in India without a valid FSSAI licence or registration. As of this draft, Geodhara Farm has not yet obtained one. Basic FSSAI registration is inexpensive and can typically be completed within a few days via the FoSCoS portal (foscos.fssai.gov.in). We strongly recommend completing this before continuing to sell commercially, and inserting the licence/registration number into this page (and the CIN field above) once issued. If your business later takes on GST-registered activities beyond plain milk (see Section 4.1), add your GSTIN to these Policies at that time.
Our milk is raw and unpasteurised. To keep it safe and enjoyable:
- Refrigerate immediately upon receipt, at or below 4°C.
- Boil the milk before consumption. Raw milk may contain naturally occurring micro-organisms that boiling helps eliminate.
- Consume within 24-48 hours of delivery, or as otherwise indicated by us at the time of delivery.
- Raw milk is not recommended for infants, pregnant women, the elderly, or persons with compromised immunity without boiling and, where appropriate, medical advice.
Once milk is delivered to your address (or to a location you have authorised, such as a security desk or a neighbour), responsibility for its proper storage and handling passes to you.
9. User Obligations
You agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order or contacting us;
- be reasonably available to receive delivery at the address and time slot agreed with us, or to make alternate arrangements as described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy;
- use our website and services only for lawful, personal, household purposes and not for resale without our prior written consent; and
- not misuse, interfere with, or attempt unauthorised access to our website or systems.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website - including our name, logo, photographs, product descriptions, and design - is owned by or licensed to Geodhara Private Limited and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content commercially without our prior written permission.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
We take care to describe our products accurately and to deliver fresh milk safely. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products, except where such loss arises from our negligence, wilful default, or a defect in the product as recognised under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that is available to you as a consumer and cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other applicable Indian law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, or provision of inaccurate information (such as an incorrect delivery address).
13. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural calamities, extreme weather, disease outbreaks, strikes, government action, or disruption to local transport.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts at Khammam, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
This does not affect your statutory right, as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to file a complaint before the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction over your own place of residence or work.
15. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address your concerns. We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours of receipt and endeavour to resolve it within one month. See Section 18 for contact details.
16. Amendments
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will indicate when changes were made. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Policies referenced in Section 1, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of our website and services. Any notice to us should be sent using the contact details in Section 18.
